We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the chance to play a key role in a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring they are met.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, increasing the company’s client base.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Handle client issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Regularly report on account status to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management, with a focus on Outside Sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Construction industry.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle client issues and concerns effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as any relevant sales software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
