Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year
A bit about us:
Our client is a well-established, AISC-certified structural steel specialty contractor headquartered in Southern California with more than five decades of continuous operation in the commercial and industrial construction sectors. As a true turnkey partner, this company manages every phase of a steel project in house — from engineering and design support through fabrication and field erection — giving clients a single point of accountability and a seamless path from blueprint to completion.
This company holds certifications from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Welding Society (AWS), and maintains LA City fabrication certification. Their work spans a wide spectrum of project sizes from custom miscellaneous metals packages to multi-thousand-ton commercial and industrial structures — across markets including healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and large-scale commercial development.
With an agile, highly experienced team and a strong distribution arm that keeps carbon steel and aluminum products on hand, our client has built a reputation for precision craftsmanship, near-zero fabrication errors, and on-time delivery. Safety is not a checkbox here it is a core operating value embedded in how the company plans, fabricates, and builds every project.
Why join us?
This is a company that takes safety seriously at every level, not just in the field. Leadership invests in the people, the programs, and the equipment necessary to maintain a safe workplace across fabrication and erection operations. For a Safety Manager who wants real ownership of a program and genuine organizational support, this is a compelling opportunity.
A Safety Role with Real Authority
This company gives its Safety Manager meaningful influence over how work gets planned and executed. You will not be writing reports that sit on a shelf. Your assessments, policies, and recommendations will shape day-to-day operations across the shop floor and the jobsite.
A Craft-Oriented Culture
The workforce here takes pride in the quality of its work, and that same standard extends to how safely the work gets done. Ironworkers, welders, and fabricators at this company are experienced tradespeople who understand that doing the job right and doing it safely are the same thing. That culture makes the Safety Manager's job more effective.
Complexity That Keeps the Work Interesting
Steel erection and structural fabrication present genuine safety challenges crane picks, working at elevation, hot work, and heavy material handling. If you want a role where your expertise is constantly put to use, this environment delivers that every day.
Stability and Competitive Compensation
With over 50 years in business and an active project pipeline, our client offers the kind of organizational stability that is increasingly rare in construction. The company provides a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
