We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Manager for our growing construction organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of safety throughout our operations. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, training programs, and policies that align with OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial safety, workplace safety, safety compliance, audit, OHSA 500, OSHA 510, construction safety, safety training, and accident investigation. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
3. Train and educate employees on safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
4. Lead accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OHSA 500 and OSHA 510.
6. Prepare and present safety reports and statistical data to senior management.
7. Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate safety measures into all aspects of operations.
8. Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory changes in health and safety laws.
9. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary safety licenses and permits are up to date.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management in the construction industry.
3. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction safety, industrial safety, workplace safety, and safety compliance.
5. Proficiency in conducting safety audits and accident investigations.
6. Familiarity with OHSA 500 and OSHA 510 regulations.
7. Excellent communication and training skills.
8. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on promoting a culture of safety.
9. Ability to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
10. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement corrective measures.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
12. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
13. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
