Safety Manager

Construction Safety Manager (Night Shift)
Location: Hutto, TX
Duration: 4+ Months (Start 3/23)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $56/hr

• Per Diem: No perdiem

• Completion Bonus: $150/month

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Schedule: Nightshift | M-F Possible Saturdays | 1800 - 0430 | 50-60hrs/week

Project Scope

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for electrical installation on a Data Center project

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 with 5+ years of experience
  Experience in Electrical/Data center builds

OR

• 4 Year Degree in Safety, and/or BCSP Certification (Minimum CHST)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions

• Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards

• Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports

• Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction

• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
