Safety Coordinator - Largo, FL

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 p/h DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Essential Job Functions:

• Help develop and enforce OSHA policies factory wide
• Organize and conduct OSHA training for the sites within their scope of responsibility
• Work with site leadership to monitor compliance and identify safety or health issues
• Intervene in unsafe activities
• Keep records up-to date of all onsite inspections, internal audits, accidents, injuries, and near misses.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months as safety coordinator and current OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 certification preferred)
• Current on First Aid, CPR and AED
• Experience in reporting and developing policies
• Experience in implementing OSHA 10 training programs
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent communication and advisory skills
• Diligent with an analytical mind
