RPO Individual Tax - Data Entry

Overview

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

• Process Individual and Fiduciary tax returns in ITS.
• Independently research and analyze returns that have suspended for review.
• Review customer returns, schedules, cases, and related documentation to make accurate determinations.
• Post determinations and adjustments to customer accounts while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
• Notify customers of adjustments via written correspondence or electronic communication.
• Conduct extensive research related to deductions, credits, and payments.
• Generate billings and/or refunds based on findings and analysis.
• Assist customers through email and INTIME messages.
• Provide technical and procedural guidance to taxpayers, attorneys, CPAs, and personal representatives.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and research tasks.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with computer-based systems; comfort with extensive screen time.
• Strong communication skills, both written and electronic.
• Ability to interpret tax-related information (training provided).

Physical Requirements:

• Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
• Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
