Route Settlement Specialist

Summary/Objective
The Route Settlement Specialist in the branch locations verifies drivers’ paperwork, bank deposits and full-service bags. The Route Settlement Specialist is responsible for reconciling daily routes from various locations. Other duties are assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
- Count cash
- Verify that checks are filled out correctly, signed, and stamped
- Operate adding machine
- Set up and maintain spreadsheets in Excel
- Check for PO #'s, customer signatures, store stamps and DSD sheets
- Scan paperwork to appropriate shared folders for Route Settlement and other departments
- Operation of Windows based computer systems
- Clerical skills, organization and filing paperwork
- Interact and communicate with supervisors, route drivers, and other staff in a positive and professional manner
- Prepare deposits for delivery to the bank

Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required
- 2 or more years’ experience in an office setting preferred

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
