Robotic Weld Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to support automated welding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high-quality welded components in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic welding cells to ensure consistent, high-quality welds

• Load and unload parts into fixtures and ensure proper alignment before welding

• Perform visual inspections of completed welds for defects and conformance to specifications

• Conduct basic quality checks using gauges, measuring tools, and weld inspection criteria

• Adjust machine parameters as needed within established guidelines

• Perform minor troubleshooting and basic maintenance on robotic welding equipment

• Communicate equipment issues to maintenance or engineering teams

• Maintain production documentation and report output accurately

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and equipment safeguards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

Required

• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods
