Are you an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) seeking a challenging and fulfilling opportunity? We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of Surgical Tech First Assistance (STFA) experience.
- Liver transplant experience (3-4 on skills checklist) is mandatory.
- Ability to scrub into a variety of surgeries beyond transplants.
- Certified Surgical Tech First Assistant (CSTFA) or NFSA certification.
- BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in advanced perioperative or transplant nursing.
- Prior experience working in high-volume transplant or complex surgical units.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing surgical cases and team dynamics.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active RN licensure with current CPR/BLS certification.
- At least 5 years of surgical assisting experience, particularly in transplant settings.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in emergency team assignments with potential on-call duties.
- No first-time travelers; previous travel or temporary assignments preferred.
- Location flexibility is not required; travel reimbursement included where applicable.
- Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (06:15 - 14:45).
- Expected start date: April 13, 2026.
- Hourly pay rate: $77.05.
