Overview:
- Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
- Locations available include: Plano, Dallas, and the surrounding areas
- Positions Available:
- Full Time (>30 hrs/week)
- Part Time (<30 hrs/week)
- Per Diem (1-2 days/week minimum)
- Shift: May vary, approximately school hours, anywhere between 7:00am-3/4:00pm.
- Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays, weekends, or nights
- Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities may include:
- Working 1:1 with a patient directly in the school with one or more of the following conditions (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabetes, seizures)
- Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
- Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
- Active, Texas Nursing License (Active Compact License Acceptable)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Current negative TB result

- G-tube feedings
