RN Overnight Manager

• Environment: Post-Acute Care     
  • Location: Ankeny, Iowa

• Full-Time
  • Hours: 6:00PM-6:30AM
  • This position requires a holiday rotation, an every 3rd weekend rotation (if not a weekends-only schedule), and a weekend on-call rotation (with special on-call pay).

IMPORTANT: Please note that our orientation process (typically up to 1 month) may require working days or shifts outside of what will be your permanent schedule. 

What do RN Managers do at On With Life?

• is responsible for all direct person served care in accordance with the individual care plans and physician orders;
• supervises nursing services and other duties completed by Certified Nursing Assistants;
• implements facility policies and procedures and coordinates nursing cares and activities with services provided by other members of the rehabilitation team; and
• addresses the personalized needs of each person served.
• Provides oversight to the night shift staff through direct and indirect supervision
• Acts as the primary preceptor for new hires
• Identifies and implements process improvements on the night shift
• Assesses and carries out staff competencies and education
• Performs routine audits and observations of staff cares
• Addresses staffing needs, including staff productivity and performance
• Addresses any person served or family needs as applicable
