Description
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a clinical setting.
The role requires a strong understanding of patient management, care coordination, and effective communication with patients and the healthcare team.
The candidate will work onsite with a 3x12 schedule, focusing on patient-centered care and using generic technology systems for documentation and care planning.
Requirements
Current RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medicine and chemotherapy
Experience with patient care management and care coordination
Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Experience with electronic health record systems
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
1 year of travel experience for travel positions
Experience with documentation and compliance with healthcare standards
Experience in a clinical oncology setting preferred
