Revenue Cycle Analyst
Pay: $24–$28 per hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Remote (Must reside in San Antonio, TX area)

About the Role
Addison Group is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst to support our client’s centralized billing office. This position combines collections, revenue integrity, auditing, and financial review to ensure accurate reimbursement and strong operational performance. Candidates must be located in the San Antonio area and willing to work on‑site in the future if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a combined portfolio of A/R collections and revenue integrity workflows.
- Review, analyze, and process adjustment requests, ensuring compliance with approval thresholds.
- Audit accounts, investigate discrepancies, and identify trends in underpayments or write‑offs.
- Manage and analyze a high-volume adjustment report; currently includes 1,000+ accounts.
- Enter adjustments, categorize issues, maintain spreadsheets for items exceeding $10K, and provide notes for leadership review.
- Collaborate with managers and leadership to review findings and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare monthly presentations summarizing trends and financial impact.
- Support special projects, including analyzing flagged trends and investigating operational concerns.
- Work 20 claims/day minimum with focus on accuracy and timely completion.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of strong outpatient collections and revenue cycle experience.
- Must understand fee schedules, contracts, claim types, and reimbursement models.
- Solid background in appeals, denials, and insurance follow-up required.
- Experience in both collections and revenue integrity review.
- Proficient with computers and basic Excel.
- Stable work history preferred (no heavy job-hopping).
- Must be able to explain billing processes clearly during interview.
Schedule & Requirements
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
- Remote role but must live in the San Antonio area.
- Possible future on-site expectations.
- Business casual dress code when on-site.
- Must disclose any pre-planned time off prior to submission (no time off allowed in first 90 days).
- Training: 2-week training program covering systems and workflows.
- Systems used: WellSky and HMS.
Environment & Expectations
- Work within a centralized billing office (CBO).
- Participate in panel-style virtual interviews with leadership.
- Must be comfortable communicating with leadership and presenting monthly findings.
- Candidates should expect scenario-based and technical interview questions.
