Report To: Timote, Retail Store Manager

Location: Pleasant Grove, UT

Pay: $19 an hour

Schedule:

• Full-Time Hourly- 40hr
• Schedule: Tues - Sat, 9:45 am – 6:15 pm (Schedule may change based on future needs).

Job Summary

Blade HQ is preparing to open a new storefront and is in search of a Retail Store Associate. This person will assist the Manager in ordering, stocking, and merchandising products, and assist in training retail employees. This person will also be expected to assist customers in person with buying products in the storefront by showing products and describing the benefits of each item.

Tasks

• Place orders for customers
• Answer questions about products
• Assist with returns and exchanges
• Maintain a clean and organized store front and display cases
• Balance the till to ensure enough change for customers
• Answer emails, and assist others when no customers are in the store front
• Ensure items have location stickers when restocking returned inventory
• Authorize L.E. and Military discounts and price matches
• Plan and participate in store events
• Assisting other departments and other downtime activities as assigned
• May include other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Work Environment

Skills

• Excellent English communication skills
• People skills
• Knowledge of outdoor tools and gear
• POS experience
• Ability to train retail workers

Physical Demands

• Need to stand for extended periods of time
• Daily bending/squatting to pick up items from bottom shelf and retrieving items in display case
• Lift up to 25 - 50 pounds at a time

Education and Experience

• Knife and outdoor equipment/tool knowledge required
• Retail or Customer service experience required
• Sales experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years of age
