Job Duties:
1) Advanced Operations Management & Production Planning:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and profitability.
- Implement advanced production planning methodologies to optimize kitchen workflows, inventory control, and labor allocation, reducing operational waste and improving cost efficiency.
- Utilize process optimization techniques to enhance restaurant logistics, customer service speed, and back-of-house organization.
2) Workforce Development & Leadership Training:
- Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of restaurant personnel, including chefs, servers, and support staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
- Develop structured performance evaluation systems, providing ongoing coaching and implementing targeted professional development programs to enhance staff efficiency and service
quality.
- Establish and enforce labor policies, conflict resolution procedures, and team-building strategies to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
3) Integrated Financial & Quality Control Systems:
- Oversee cost-control frameworks, monitoring expenses across inventory procurement, payroll, and operational overhead to maximize profitability.
- Implement advanced financial tracking models using restaurant management software and POS systems to monitor revenue streams, and provide feedback on pricing strategies, and
analyze sales trends for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct menu profitability analysis, and provide feedback on pricing and portion sizes based on cost evaluations and consumer behavior insights.
4) High-Standard Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health, food safety, and labor laws, including OSHA, FDA, and state-specific regulations governing restaurant operations.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service efficiency, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, enforcing food handling protocols, sanitation policies, and workplace safety guidelines to maintain a risk-free and legally compliant
establishment.
5) Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee supply chain logistics, managing inventory turnover rates and reducing waste through real-time stock monitoring and demand forecasting.
- Implement sustainable procurement initiatives, prioritizing locally sourced ingredients and eco-friendly packaging solutions to align with industry trends and customer expectations.
6) Market Positioning & Business Expansion Strategy:
- Develop and execute growth strategies aimed at growing sales at the restaurant.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis, identifying key opportunities for differentiation and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement data-driven customer engagement campaigns, social media strategies, and community outreach programs, increasing brand awareness
and customer retention
Minimum Requirements:
- No minimum education required.
- 36 months of experience as a Restaurant Manager
Other Special Skills/Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in production planning, process optimization, and quality management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business operations.
- Proficiency with restaurant management software (e.g., POS, ERP systems) and financial tracking tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is required.
- Multilingual skills preferred (English, Spanish and Italian) to facilitate vendor negotiations and enhance customer relations in a diverse market.
- Knowledge of U.S. food service market trends, supplier networks, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on Miami, is a plus.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
Location: Position is located at 1656 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. No travel required.
Salary: $93,475.00 per year
