Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the front-of-house team, and ensuring service standards are consistently met. This role plays a key part in staff development, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

Lead, train, motivate, and develop front-of-house team members

Deliver a consistently excellent guest experience and resolve guest concerns professionally

Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing needs

Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Collaborate with ownership and leadership team to meet financial and operational goals

Uphold the restaurant group s brand standards, values, and culture

Qualifications

3-5 years previous restaurant management experience in an upscale environment is required

Level 1 Sommelier or above

Mature leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and exude grace under pressure

Demonstrate understanding of restaurant operations, cost controls, and service standards
