Respiratory Therapist

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Detroit, MI 48236
Duration: 3 Months+ Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am| 3x12s

Note: Stipend available for travelers with distance >50 Miles

Required Qualifications:

· 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience .

· Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

· Current License - Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan

· BLS Certificate

· Associate of Science Degree , from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy to patients under supervision.

·         Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for ICU and general practice patients.

·         Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff, and document all aspects of patient care.

·         Supervise and delegate tasks to therapists, students, and staff while completing accurate patient billing information.
