Residential Hospitality & Operations Manager
Palm Beach, FL
Sector: Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) Private Estate Operations
We are seeking a sophisticated and operationally rigorousResidential Hospitality & Operations Manager to oversee the interiors and "Five-Star Plus" readiness of a global portfolio of private residences.
This is not a traditional desk-bound management role. We are looking for a visionary leader with a "Sensei" mindsetsomeone who has mastered the art of luxury service at the world's most prestigious hotel brands and possesses the technical expertise to translate those standards into a private residential environment.
You will be the architect of our service DNA, responsible for the systems, training, and keen attention to detail that ensure every property is perpetually "guest-ready," regardless of the Principal's location.
Primary Responsibilities
1. The Blueprint of Excellence (SOPs & Standards)
- Curate and maintain a comprehensive "Library of Gold Standards" that defines everything from the specific fold of a linen to the exact placement of a guest's preferred vintage.
- Systematize consistency to ensure that the "feeling" of the brand is identical across all properties.
- Utilize photo documentation to create foolproof, high-fidelity training manuals for on-site teams.
2. Rigorous Quality Assurance & Auditing
- Conduct routine, white-glove inspections across all properties to audit housekeeping quality, inventory accuracy, and aesthetic precision.
- Produce sophisticated audit reports that celebrate excellence, identify gaps, and provide clear corrective pathways for Property Managers.
3. Preservation & Specialized Care
- Oversee laundry systems and specialized care for high-value finishes, antique linens, and delicate surfaces.
- Establish and enforce the use of organic, green-certified cleaning protocols that protect both the environment and the longevity of the estate's assets.
- Architect annual and seasonal "Project-Clean" calendars to ensure the infrastructure of the home is maintained at a showroom level.
4. The Art of Personalization
- Refine and manage "Living Preference Sheets" for the principals, family, and frequent guests, capturing nuances in wellness, floral aesthetics, and culinary staples.
- Work with our Inventory Manager to standardize par levels for high-end amenities and pantry staples, ensuring seamless replenishment through coordination with the Purchasing team.
5. Mentorship & Team Elevation
- You are a teacher first. You will spend time on-site, working alongside Household Managers and Housekeepers to demonstrate "the why" behind the "how."
- Create and deliver training modules focused on the "Invisible Service" philosophy: anticipatory, silent, and flawless.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 to 15 years of leadership experience within ultra-luxury hospitality (General Manager, Rooms Division Director, or Executive Housekeeper at a Forbes Five-Star property) or a high-level UHNW Private Estate.
- An uncompromising and expert eye for detail and the ability to spot a deviation in symmetry or a minor lapse in finish.
- Proficiency in SharePoint or advanced Project Management software to maintain digital documentation and audit trails.
- The ability to communicate with extreme discretion, grace, and clarity, whether reporting to the Family Office or coaching entry-level staff.
- A willingness to travel frequently to domestic and international estates to ensure brand continuity.
Why This Role?
This is a rare opportunity to step out of the traditional hotel structure and apply your expertise to a bespoke, private portfolio where quality is never sacrificed for volume. You will have the opportunity to build a world-class hospitality culture from the ground up, supported by a family office that values longevity, sustainability, and the highest tiers of service.
