Residential Electrical Service Technician
Compensation: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality electrical service and maintenance to residential customers, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work both independently and as part of a dynamic service team to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance on residential electrical systems
Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions while adhering to NEC and local codes
Install, replace, and upgrade wiring, panels, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Required Qualifications
Current Colorado Residential Wireman License (minimum requirement)
Proven experience as a residential electrician or service technician
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Additional Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with team members and customers
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in various environments including confined spaces, attics, and outdoor conditions
Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and use of hand and power tools
Must be comfortable working on ladders and at heights as needed
