The Residential Counselor is to provide assistance and support to individuals diagnosed with mental illness who reside in homes operated by the Mental Health Association of Nassau County. Counselors will promote greater independence by assisting and supporting residents in day-to-day activities, personal care, skills building, community integration and counseling around everyday activities.Positions include weekdays and/or weekends, scheduled by the Program Supervisor.
