Overview:
As a Residential Counselor ABH in Pennsylvania, you will work closely with residents to foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Your efforts will help residents achieve their recovery goals, improve their daily living skills, and enhance their overall well-being. Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of behavioral health principles
- Capable of managing challenging situations with patience
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time-management skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in residential or mental health facilities
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
- Bilingual skills or multilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in behavioral health, social services, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record are advantageous

- Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary clearances
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications
