We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Telehealth Physician Assistant to join our team at Lehrer Family Chiropractic. Our company is located in Melville, New York, but this position is completely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

As a Remote Telehealth Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality healthcare services to our patients through virtual consultations and appointments. You will work closely with our team of chiropractors to assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess their medical concerns and provide appropriate treatment recommendations

- Collaborate with our team of chiropractors to develop personalized treatment plans for patients

- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed

- Provide follow-up care and monitor patients' progress

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Stay informed on the latest developments and advancements in telehealth and incorporate them into our practice

- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals via telecommunication platforms

- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New York

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant

- Experience in telehealth or virtual healthcare is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in using telecommunication platforms and electronic medical records systems

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Availability to work part-time hours, with potential for increased hours in the future
