Job Title: Remote Medical Scribe

Lehrer Family Chiropractic is a leading chiropractic clinic located in Melville, New York. Our team of experienced chiropractors and healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a Remote Medical Scribe to join our team and assist our doctors with documenting patient visits.

Position Overview:

The Remote Medical Scribe will work closely with our chiropractors to accurately and efficiently document patient visits. This is a part-time, remote position, allowing for a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use electronic medical record (EMR) software to document patient visits in real-time

- Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions, including medical history, physical exams, and treatment plans

- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, following clinic guidelines and standards

- Communicate with physicians to clarify any unclear or missing information

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting preferred

- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR software

- Excellent typing and computer skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Ability to work independently and remotely

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Contract Details:

This is a part-time, remote position with a flexible work schedule. The Remote Medical Scribe will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation will be based on experience.
