About the Opportunity Thomas Talent Network is sourcing remote Customer Service Agents for placement with clients serviced through the Arise Platform. This is a 1099 independent contracting opportunity with flexible scheduling and the freedom to work from your home office. No prior experience is required — entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule & Hours Minimum 15 hours - Max 40 hours per week required. Flexible scheduling is available you select your own hours based on client availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound customer support via phone and/or chat
• Handle customer inquiries, troubleshooting, account management, and escalations
• Follow client program guidelines on every interaction
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) are strongly encouraged to apply
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• No prior experience required — entry-level applicants welcome
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must reside in an eligible state (see State Eligibility section below)

State Eligibility Applicants residing in any state listed below will not be considered:

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Equipment Requirements (Your Responsibility) Agents must supply their own compliant equipment. The following are minimum requirements. Individual client programs may have additional requirements above and beyond these minimums.

Computer

• Desktop or laptop running Windows only — Chromebooks, MacOS, tablets, netbooks, and ARM-based processors (e.g., Microsoft Surface, Chrome OS) are not supported
• Processor: Intel Core i3–i9, Pentium G5400/N6400, Xeon E Class, Celeron J4000/N5000, AMD Ryzen 3, or Athlon 3000 series or better
• RAM: 4 GB minimum (8 GB recommended)
• Hard Drive: 60 GB total space minimum / 20 GB available space minimum
• Operating System: Windows 11 — genuine licensed copy, fully updated (beta/developer versions not supported)
• Monitor: Minimum 1280x1024 resolution (1920x1080 Full HD recommended)
• USB 3.0 port required

Internet & Connectivity

• Hard-wired Ethernet connection required — Wi-Fi, 5G, satellite, hotspot, and cellular internet are strictly prohibited
• Minimum 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload (30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload recommended)
• Maximum network latency: 120 ms (50 ms recommended)
• DSL, cable, or fiber optic service only

Accessories

• USB noise-canceling headset (hardwired, phone-quality audio) — required for class and most client programs
• Smartphone or mobile device with working camera for multi-factor authentication only (cannot be used for servicing or class)
• Hardwired telephone and headset may be required depending on the client program selected

Software

• Windows Firewall must be enabled
• Windows Security Real-Time Protection must be active and up to date
• Updated web browser: Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (most recent version)

Compensation English-Speaking: $11.00–$14.00/hr Bilingual (English/Spanish): $16.00/hr

Work a full 40-hour week and earn up to $29,120–$33,280 annually. Bilingual agents working full-time can earn up to $33,280 per year.

Minimum commitment is 15 hours per week. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes and business expenses. Pay rate varies by client program.
