We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AP Supervisor to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This is a remote position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing excellent healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Accounts Payable process, including 1099, vendor data clean up, invoicing, GL, customer service, supplier maintenance, travel and expense (T&E), disbursements, content coordination, entries, and more. Experience with software platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX is highly desirable. The role will involve a significant amount of analysis, month-end and year-end closing activities.
Responsibilities
As an AP Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable department, ensuring all financial deadlines are met.
2. Managing vendor data clean up, invoicing, GL entries, and supplier maintenance.
3. Handling travel and expense (T&E) reporting and disbursements.
4. Coordinating with content coordinators to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
5. Supervising the preparation of 1099 forms and other financial reports.
6. Utilizing PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX to streamline AP processes.
7. Conducting regular analysis to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
8. Managing month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all AP tasks are completed accurately and on time.
9. Providing excellent customer service, resolving any AP-related issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
To be considered for the AP Supervisor role, candidates must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
2. Proven experience with 1099, vendor data clean up, invoicing, GL, customer service, supplier maintenance, T&E, disbursements, content coordination, and entries.
3. Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough analysis and present findings clearly.
5. Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities.
6. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
7. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, maintaining high levels of productivity and meeting strict deadlines.
8. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to supervise a team and drive performance.
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
