Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical and life‑science manufacturing, is seeking a Reliability Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance (Entry Level) to join their team. As a Reliability Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance & Reliability Department, supporting automated production and material‑handling operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and good communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

$30.00 – $39.29 per hour


What’s the Job?

  • Perform hands‑on mechanical troubleshooting and repair of automated manufacturing and material‑handling equipment.
  • Maintain mechanical systems such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and couplings.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Support installation, alignment, and mechanical commissioning of new or modified equipment.
  • Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS and collaborate with production and engineering teams.

 

What’s Needed?

  • 0–3 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance or industrial troubleshooting experience (internships/co‑ops accepted).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with rotating equipment, conveyors, belts/chains, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Comfort working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and use hand tools safely.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to work onsite in Whitestown, IN.
