Rehab Tech (Full-Time)

Excel at Woodbury, located in Nassau County, has an opportunity for a Full-Time Rehab Tech.

Duties:

• Perform all floor ambulation for all residents as prescribed by the rehab department/MD
• Perform AAROM/PROM for all residents as indicated
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces and equipment being used as part of the functional maintenance program
• Transfer residents in/out of the wheelchair as part of a functional maintenance program
• Ensure splints/braces are applied/removed by nursing staff as per MD order and in accordance with wearing schedule
• Report any inconsistencies, functional changes, skin integrity issues (if noted) of a resident to the nursing manager and/or rehab director as needed.
• Document all FAP distance, level of assistance (in nursing terms) daily in EMR
• Perform group wellness exercises with residents on the units ( if applicable) as directed by Rehab therapy staff

Other duties as assigned by Rehab director
