Title: Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Locations: Stamford, CT or remote
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Salary Range: $55- $60/Hour on W2 Only (All inclusive) Applicant must be willing to work on W2.
Job Overview
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Capital Management within top-tier financial institutions (CAT-2/CAT-3 organizations), and be highly proficient in data governance and regulatory reporting practices. This role requires expertise in reporting FR Y-15, European Risk Assets, and US Risk Assets, along with a strong understanding of financial data reconciliation and reporting systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect and report data related to capital management and risk assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (FR Y-15, 2052A/6G).
- Regulatory Compliance: Perform detailed data analysis and trend reviews, ensuring the reconciliation between regulatory reports and underlying ledgers.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Front Office teams to aggregate data and strengthen end-to-end reporting processes.
- Data Governance: Contribute to the enhancement of data governance practices and help develop robust data quality and control frameworks.
- Financial Risk Management: Support in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, reporting findings to senior leadership.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure the accuracy of financial data, and prevent fraudulent misreporting.
- Financial Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices across the organization.
- System Integration: Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications, collaborating with IT teams to integrate financial systems with other enterprise systems.
- Regulatory Reports: Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports to relevant authorities, providing support to other departments in their preparation and review of these reports.
