Position Overview: RN Unit Manager
As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee daily clinical operations for a unit serving up to 40 patients, spanning both short‑term rehabilitation and long‑term care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of an assigned nursing unit
Support treatments and medication administration as needed
Coordinate and support new patient admissions and assessments
Conduct daily audits of newly admitted patient charts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and departments
Investigate incident reports and complete follow‑up actions
Assign staff duties and support workflow management
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
Participate in staff evaluations and performance feedback
Provide on‑call coverage for weekends and holidays as needed
Requirements
Active New York RN License
Prior RN experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long‑Term Care setting (required)
Leadership or charge experience strongly preferred
