Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
  • Coordinate and document patient care across the perioperative continuum through effective interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Partner with patients and families to support individualized care plans, education, and shared decision-making
  • Practice in accordance with professional nursing standards, scope of practice, ethics, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote teamwork, inclusive communication, and a respectful clinical environment
  • Participate in quality improvement, performance improvement, and shared governance activities
  • Support evidence-based practice, nursing research, and data-driven clinical decision-making
  • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor to nurses, staff, and students as needed
  • Complete all required competencies, mandatory education, and population-specific training
  • Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills;Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Experience providing perioperative or procedural patient care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice, patient safety, and quality standards
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and patient advocacy
  • Ability to precept, mentor, or support development of other nursing staff
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
  • Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
  • BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
  • Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
