Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: Enid, OK
Duration: 3 months+ (possible extension)

Shift Details:

· Time: 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM

· Days: Monday – Friday

Requirements :

· Active State RN License or Multi-State Compact License

· A minimum of 1 year of PACU experience is required.

· ACLS and BLS are required.

Job Description:

·         Monitor post-operative patients' levels of recovery and consciousness from anesthesia and provide updates to the medical team as needed.

·         Observe patients for signs of side effects of anesthesia medication.

·         Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia and administer medication as prescribed.

·         Update charting (EMR), patient files, and medical records.

·         Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and answer any questions.
