Job Details
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Short Stay for a dynamic acute care unit.
This role is ideal for a Med-Surg RN, Acute Care RN, Observation Unit RN, or Clinical Nurse II seeking growth, stability, and the opportunity to contribute to a newly expanding hospital unit.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical / short stay / observation unit
Perform patient assessments, care planning, and discharge planning
Deliver post-operative and acute care treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NC)
1+ year experience (Med-Surg, Acute Care, Stepdown, ICU, or ED)
BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
Preferred
Experience in Med-Surg, Short Stay, or Observation Unit RN roles
Comfort with fluctuating patient volumes and acuity
