Pay Range: $33 - $55/hour.  Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match, Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holiday Pay, Significant Sign-On Bonus & Relocatio Assistance offered for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper placement of patients from external hospitals, EDs, clinics, and home.
  • Act as a collaborative liaison between the medical center and transferring entities and physicians.
  • Reduce placement errors by ensuring the appropriateness of patient transfers and placements.
  • Work closely with house supervisor, bed management, and bed czar to ensure EMTALA compliance.
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Schedule: Part-time
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills;Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
  • Current BLS certification
  • 3 years or more of experience coordinating hospital transfers or ED/ICU experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Associates degree in nursing required
  • Education: Associates degree in nursing required.
  • Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) upon hire.
  • Experience: 3 years or more of experience coordinating hospital transfers or ED/ICU experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Preferred Experience: One (1) year or more of experience in UM, UR or Case Management is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and triage decision-making skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate complex patient transfers efficiently.
  • Proficiency in bed management and patient placement processes.
