Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Duration: 13+ weeks contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Job Summary:
- The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- This role utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families.
- The RN communicates effectively with the healthcare team and actively participates in identifying and implementing solutions when patient goals are not met.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Skills:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Schedule Notes:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Post-Partum experience required.
