Job Details
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for a high-acuity maternal care unit.
This role is ideal for a Labor & Delivery RN, OB Nurse, Women’s Health RN, or Med-Surg RN looking to transition into L&D.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal status and respond to OB emergencies
Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Collaborate with OB physicians, midwives, and care teams
Educate patients and families throughout the birth process
Document care and maintain clinical compliance
Requirements
Active RN license (North Carolina)
1+ year RN experience (L&D, OB, Med-Surg, ICU, or ED)
ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Preferred
Labor & Delivery or Women’s Health experience
High-risk OB experience
