Unit Highlights
The Maternal Newborn Center provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, including a Level II Special Care Nursery, where we provide care to our smallest patients. We utilize approaches such as Spinning Babies® and Bundle Birth to promote safe outcomes and maintain cesarean rates below the national average. Our close-knit team of highly trained nurses—certified in electronic fetal monitoring and STABLE—delivers compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative environment. We are a smaller unit with 5 labor beds, 2 triage rooms, 1 PACU, and 2 ORs, as well as 10 Postpartum rooms. Positions available - Full-time: 7pm-7am and PRN: 7pm-7am
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior labor and delivery experience required.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
