Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN Director for a 13-week travel contract in Oklahoma City, OK (surrounding areas)—perfect for leaders ready for a high-paying assignment with travel and housing support.
Assignment Details

  • Specialty: Labor & Delivery – Director

  • Location:Oklahoma City, OK (surrounding areas)

  • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

  • Pay: $43/hour + $1,200/week stipend (~$2,900/weekly total)

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift/Hours: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday
Requirements

  • Current and valid Oklahoma RN license (or compact state license)

  • Minimum 5 years as a staff RN and 2 years in a Director role

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

  • Proven leadership and management skills in Labor & Delivery
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Labor & Delivery team

  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards

  • Mentor and support staff nurses in clinical and leadership skills

  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational efficiency

  • Maintain quality assurance and documentation standards

  • Provide clinical support and guidance during deliveries
