Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU: Travel
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)

Schedule: 12*3 Days/Nights

Pay Range: $2550/Week for 36 Hours

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters

· Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

· Provide advanced life support and emergency interventions in critical situations

· Administer IV fluids, blood products, and medications per physician orders and protocols

· Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot critical care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps

· Adjust and manage ventilators and assist with invasive devices such as IABP, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes

· Perform wound care, suctioning, and infection prevention practices

· Assist physicians and multidisciplinary teams with bedside procedures and diagnostics

· Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening changes in patient condition using established nursing standards and protocols

· Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record

· Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the critical care team

· Act as a patient advocate to ensure safe, ethical, and compassionate care

· Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and post-care plans

· Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families during high-stress situations

· Care for pre-operative and post-operative critically ill patients

· Participate in discharge planning and care coordination as needed

· Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards

· Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit-based projects

· May perform charge nurse, case management, or administrative duties as assigned
