Job Details
Provide direct patient care across multiple inpatient units based on staffing and census needs
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Float between departments while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality
Schedule flexibility may include days, nights, weekends, or rotating shifts
Must-Have Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
1+ year of acute care hospital nursing experience (float, med-surg, telemetry, ICU, or ED preferred)
Demonstrated ability to safely float across multiple inpatient units
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional standards
