Novant Health is hiring a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) registered nurse for the nightshift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC. We’re offering up to a $30,000 sign-on bonus as well as up to $7,500 relocation.
- Schedule: Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours per 2 weeks, 12-hour NightShift, 7p – 7a

About our Medicine IV Unit:
We'reseekingcompassionate and patient caredrivennurses to join ourMed Surg team! Our unitcomprises41 beds; we haveapatient ratio averaging 5-6 :1it is our goalwith our new team model, where every patient is assigned an RN, LPN and CNA it is our goal for the ratio then be 10:2. Given the high modality of the cases we handle, our nursing team thrives on great communication, ongoing team support and training within the workplace. What We're Looking For:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
- 1 year of acute nursing experience, required.
What You'll Do:
- Provide specialized care and monitor patients closely.
- Work with healthcare teams to develop care plans for patients.
- Manage complex conditions and perform necessary procedures.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions.
- Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.
- Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records.
