Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Provide patient-centered, relationship-based care across the care continuum
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds and care planning
- Perform timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families; involve them in goal setting and care decisions
- Adhere to evidence-based nursing practice, clinical standards, and safety protocols
- Support quality improvement, shared governance, and performance initiatives
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nurses, staff, or students as needed
- Comply with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies
- Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Ability to deliver direct patient care in an acute or surgical setting
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and assessment skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow evidence-based practice and safety standards
- Willingness to participate in professional development and competency training
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
