Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week) | Every Other Weekend
Pay Local: $50 - $55/hr – W2

Pay Travel: $1700 - $2000 Gross weekly

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) . This unit delivers intermediate-level care to adult patients requiring close monitoring following medical procedures, surgical interventions, or diagnostic treatments.
The PCU functions as a critical bridge between outpatient and inpatient care, with a strong emphasis on short-stay patients and rapid recovery pathways. This is a high-impact role ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are skilled in cardiac monitoring and post-procedural care.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide continuous telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac care

·         Deliver chest pain management, including expedited testing and follow-up

·         Manage post-procedural patients (cardiac cath, endoscopy, electrophysiology, IR, minor surgeries)

·         Support recovery from moderate sedation and promote early ambulation

·         Deliver patient-centered, goal-oriented care focused on rapid discharge

·         Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including procedural departments and care management

·         Maintain strong focus on patient safety, throughput, and satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

·         Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

·         Strong clinical experience in PCU / Telemetry / Stepdown settings

·         Proven ability to provide age-specific and culturally competent care

·         Excellent communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality

·         Demonstrated adaptability in fast-changing clinical environments

·         Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
