Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension

Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 4*10

The Pay Rate information:
Pay for Travelers-
Weekly Gross- $2689.58
W2 per hr- $29.50
Weekly Stipend- $1568.58

Pay for Locals: $70/hr. on W2

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assessing patients

·         Administering cancer treatments

·         Explaining the treatments and answering questions for patients

·         Managing the side effects of cancer treatments and helping manage pain

·         Monitoring vitals of patients

·         Coordinating the patient’s care with all other providers

·         Supporting the emotional well-being of patients

·         Providing information on resources for family members

Requirements:

·         BLS (AHA)

·         ACLS

·         ONCC

·         2 Yr of recent oncology experience in a Hospital or outpatient.
