Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Nursing Informaticist is responsible for providing leadership, direction, technical expertise, and project management in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical information systems throughout ARMC. Responsibilities include process analysis, change management, marketing, and training development/delivery and end user support. This position utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice and knowledge of clinical system operations to ensure the information systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice. This position requires in-depth expertise of specific applications and will utilize resource and knowledge for continuous quality improvement initiatives enhanced by technology systems. The Nursing Informaticist will work closely with the leadership and colleagues to develop and maintain a fully integrated online medical record. This position requires on-call responsibilities. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. Possesses strong facilitation and communication skills as well as established track record of successful change management. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid New Jersey Drivers License required. Valid NJ RN License required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience required. Previous management experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
