Summary:
- Location: Anschutz Medical Campus
- Department: Level Four NICU
- Trauma Level: Level I
- Total # of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 82
- Length of Assignment: 13 weeks (04/07/26 - 07/11/26)
- Shift: 12H Nights, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Holiday Work Requirement: July 4th
- Contract Role
Responsibilities:
- May be required to float to acute care or ICUs within clinical competence
- Predominantly float within NICU; will not take patients greater than 3 years of age if floated outside NICU
Requirements:
- Education: BSN required; ADN considered with 8 years of Level IV NICU experience in a teaching and children's facility
- Licensure/Certification: RN required
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Minimum Clinical Experience: 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
- Experience in a teaching hospital
- TRACH/VENT experience required
- Travel experience preferred but not mandatory
Required Skills:
- Experience in high-acuity, Level I trauma center
Preferred Skills:
- Prior travel experience
