Job Title: RN – Med Surge (Oncology)
Location: Saint Joseph, MI
Duration: 3 +Months (Possibility of extension)

Shift Time: Night Shift | 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM | 36hr/3 Shift week | Every other weekend & holidays required

Note: PER DIEM RATES PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY

Job Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Med Surg and Oncology experience to join our team. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate documentation while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities Include:

· Provide evidence-based nursing care following the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

· Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and continuous patient care.

· Advocate for patients and families while maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

· Develop and implement individualized care plans and patient education strategies.

· Initiate discharge planning and ensure smooth care transitions.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

· Delegate tasks appropriately and support safe, quality patient care.

Required Certifications & Licence:

·         Minimum 1 – Year recent full-time equivalent experience.

·         Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of Michigan.

·         BLS (AHA)

·         ACLS (AHA)
