How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Deliver rapid, patient-centered emergency care to individuals of all ages, ensuring safe, compassionate treatment in a fast-paced free-standing ED setting.
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients quickly to stabilize acute conditions and determine appropriate treatment or transfer when higher-level care is required.
Monitor patient status closely and intervene decisively to prevent complications and support positive clinical outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and receiving facilities to ensure smooth transitions of care and efficient patient flow.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions to promote recovery, reduce return visits, and strengthen community trust.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date require. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of
Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
