Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration: 3 Months+ (possible extension)
Shift: 36 hours/week (Days/Nights available )
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process in alignment with hospital standards and unit policies. The role focuses on monitoring and improving patient functional status while delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient-centered care
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver care considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-specific needs
- Prioritize tasks and anticipate patient/unit needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families, including discharge planning
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in dynamic environments
Required Skills & Experience:
- 0–6 months of RN ER related experience in hospital setting.
- Experience with Epic systems
- Knowledge of disease management and clinical pathways
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with clinical data
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- ENPC or TNCC preferred
