The Staff Pad has partnered with Russellville Hospital to find compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join their Emergency Department team. About the Role

As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. You will serve as an advocate for patients of all ages, respond to emergencies quickly and effectively, and help maintain a safe and efficient ER environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial patient assessments, obtain histories, and develop individualized care plans.

  • Administer medications and IV therapy per hospital policy.

  • Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions.

  • Coordinate nursing care and make patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies.

  • Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly.

  • Support patients and families with psychosocial and emotional needs.

  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality care standards.

  • Provide compassionate care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State compact license.

  • BLS certification required.

  • Must obtain ACLS and PALS within one year of hire.

  • TNCC preferred.

  • Previous ER experience strongly preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
