JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Director - Women's Services

RN DIR - WOMEN

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Director candidates will have the following job responsibilities: 

• Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability.
• Collaborates with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs. Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Supports the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.

RN DIR - WOMEN

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Director candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• At least 5 years of RECENT (Within the last year) as a manager or director in a large hospital – experience in Women Services. Needs experience with at least 3500 births a year in a high acuity facility.
• Education: BSN is Required

• Licensure/Certifications: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.
• Ability to achieve and then maintain BCLS certification is required.
